The Real Burger House

The Real Burger House is a burger and pizza takeaway at Crighton Place, a short street linking Leith Walk to the residential grid between Pilrig and Bonnington. The kitchen produces smash burgers and loaded fries alongside pizzas made fresh to order. Crighton Place sits at the northern end of the Leith Walk commercial strip — a stretch with one of Edinburgh's highest concentrations of independent takeaways — serving the student and residential population between the New Town and Leith. The premises were previously occupied by the Real Pizza Factory, which closed in 2016, and the burger format has been in place since 2017. The shop takes orders online and through the main delivery aggregators, and draws from the dense residential streets of Pilrig and Bonnington as well as the through-traffic on Leith Walk.
