About Rojava Restaurant
Rojava is a Kurdish and Lebanese restaurant on Morrison Street, opened in 2016, that has built a clear identity in Edinburgh's Middle Eastern dining market. The kitchen works with charcoal-grilled meat alongside slow-cooked dishes — a combination that reflects the traditional cooking of Iraqi and Syrian Kurdistan, where charcoal BBQ is central to the food culture. All meat is 100% halal. The menu spans Lebanese and Arabic dishes alongside Kurdish specialities, giving it a broader range than the typical kebab-and-flatbread offer. Morrison Street runs between Haymarket station and Tollcross, and Rojava is about eight minutes' walk from Haymarket. Monday to Saturday noon to 11pm; Sunday 4pm to 11pm. Street parking available.
