Peking Garden

Peking Garden on Ferry Road Drive is a Chinese and Thai takeaway serving the Pilton area of north Edinburgh. The menu is notably wide for a neighbourhood Chinese — over a hundred dishes spanning soups, crispy starters, Mongolian-style preparations, curries, stir-fries, roast duck, seafood dishes and a range of Thai green and red curries alongside the more conventional Cantonese fare. House specials include squid with ginger and spring onions and king prawn in honey BBQ sauce, and the kitchen marks out spicy preparations clearly throughout the menu. Set meals for two to four people and a "Munchy Box" of mixed fried items are available for group orders. Peking Garden is open from half four in the afternoon Monday, Tuesday and Thursday through Sunday, with Wednesday as the closed day. Delivery is available to local north Edinburgh addresses and orders can be placed through Just Eat or the restaurant's own website.
