Nine Dragons is a Chinese takeaway on West Granton Road that has served the Granton and north Edinburgh area for a number of years and trades under its own website at 9dragons.co.uk. Customer reviews on TripAdvisor and elsewhere pick out the special fried rice — one reviewer described it as the best they had tasted in years — along with the salt and chilli chips, BBQ ribs and chilli honey chicken as consistently strong dishes. Delivery is praised for reliability and punctuality. The kitchen closes on Thursdays for an early finish. Sunday through Wednesday and Friday through Saturday, opening is from four o'clock in the afternoon through to eleven at night. Thursday hours run from two in the afternoon to eight in the evening.
