Mayflower

Mayflower is a Chinese takeaway on Piershill Place, the short terrace off Willowbrae Road on the eastern fringe of the area. The menu covers traditional Oriental preparations — starters, soups, chicken, beef, pork, duck, king prawn, chow mein, fried rice and curry dishes — with delivery to the surrounding residential area of Piershill, Jocks Lodge and Willowbrae. The Piershill area is family housing between the Portobello Road and the eastern edge of Edinburgh's inner suburbs; Mayflower draws a local, mainly residential crowd rather than the student and tourist trade of Nicolson Street.
