Better Bites

Better Bites — also known as Bonnington Brunch — is a family-run breakfast and lunch café on Bonnington Road in the residential area between Leith and Canonmills. The menu is built around morning rolls, with the MEGA Roll (bacon, sausage, egg and potato scone on a jumbo roll) a particular regular draw. Breakfast rolls are served all day alongside baguettes, paninis, burgers, chips, homemade soup, macaroni and hot filled wraps. The café has limited seating for those who prefer to sit in. Bonnington Road is a residential street running through the quiet neighbourhood of Bonnington, away from the busier Leith Walk and Great Junction Street corridors, and Better Bites fills the role of a dependable local café for the morning and lunchtime trade of the surrounding streets. The kitchen runs Monday to Friday from six-thirty in the morning through to two in the afternoon, and on Saturdays from seven-thirty to one.
