Maiwand Restaurant

Maiwand on Rayners Lane is one of the few Afghan restaurants in west London, bringing the distinctive flavours of Kabuli cooking to the HA5 area. The menu features mantoo — steamed pasta parcels filled with hand-minced lamb, onion and herbs, served with yoghurt — alongside kofta quorma (minced lamb meatballs in tomato and chilli with naan), lamb kebabs, and quorma dishes cooked with fresh aromatics. The dining room is decorated with traditional Afghan motifs and the service has been praised for warmth and attentiveness. Booking is recommended for weekends. The kitchen is halal-certified and accepts card payments.
