Loving Hut

The vegan Chinese restaurant at Station Road has operated under two names — Loving Hut and, more recently, Zen Buddha — reflecting a rebrand rather than any change of direction. The kitchen is 100% plant-based, using organic produce and non-GMO ingredients wherever possible. The menu is unusually broad: dim sum, Szechuan stir-fries, Thai curries, noodle soups, Indian-influenced dishes and British-style mains all appear, built on tofu, bean curd and paneer. A daytime buffet offers outstanding value and draws regulars on weekday lunchtimes. The restaurant is entirely non-smoking and alcohol-free. TripAdvisor reviewers consistently praise both the flavour and the variety, and Happy Cow lists it among the stronger plant-based options in north-west London.
