About Black Bull Inn
The Black Bull Inn is a traditional country pub and restaurant in East Halton, the small village a short drive north of Immingham on the inland edge of the Humber estuary. It sits at the heart of the village, with a country-style dining room, a bar menu, and accommodation across the main building and three neighbouring outbuildings — twenty-one bedrooms in total, almost all en-suite, which makes it a meaningful local employer as well as a food destination.
The kitchen runs a varied menu: traditional home cooking on the bar menu — pies, burgers, fish and chips, jackets — alongside a more refined restaurant menu for evening dining, with a separate children's list. Real ale is kept alongside cocktails and a fair wine selection. The pub holds live music on Friday evenings and has outside seating and disabled access. Surrounded by farmed fields yet within easy reach of Barton-upon-Humber and Immingham, it functions as both a village local and a destination food pub, drawing diners from across the small east-of-Immingham villages and from the docks-related residential trade. A genuine country pub operation rather than a managed-house standard.
