Krunchy Fried Chicken on Bloom Street is a late-night institution in Manchester's Gay Village, running until the early hours to serve the Canal Street crowd. The menu centres on fried chicken pieces, burgers, ribs, wraps and combo meals, with a range of dipping sauces. A January 2025 review gave it 10/10 for food and service, calling it the best place for food after a night out, and the outlet has been feeding the Village crowd since at least 1999. The all-hours format and central Gay Village location make it one of the most relied-upon late-night takeaways in this part of the city.
