Archies Fast Food Shakes

Archie's on Oxford Road is a Manchester institution that launched in 2010, originally bringing its vivid, pop-art aesthetic to the student strip between the university campuses. The entirely halal menu is best known for thick hand-spun milkshakes named after celebrities — Floyd Mayweather and Amir Khan are among the shout-outs — alongside loaded waffles with generous ice cream and chocolate toppings, crispy chicken burgers and cheesy spicy tater tots. The Oxford Road branch operates as a dedicated takeaway counter. Food Hygiene rating of 5 (Very Good) from February 2024. A cult favourite with students and the wider city, Archie's delivers on both spectacle and flavour.
