Sanskruti Restaurant

Sanskruti is Liverpool's first dedicated vegetarian Indian restaurant, open since 2016 in a basement space on Bixteth Street near the commercial district. The kitchen travels across the subcontinent rather than fixing on one regional style: beetroot and potato masala dosas, slow-cooked smoky daals, Mumbai-style chaats, Gujarati thalis and North Indian curries all feature on the menu. HappyCow and Designmynight both rate it highly, and it has been reviewed positively by Liverpool Confidential. Specific dishes praised by reviewers include the Idli in Sambar, Veg Manchurian with Gravy and the Masala Dosa. A three-course meal for two with drinks runs to around £56. A genuine specialist rather than a token veggie menu bolted onto a meat-focused kitchen.
