Sun Hei is a Chinese takeaway on Kilmarnock Road in Shawlands, one of the many independent food businesses on this busy South Side shopping and restaurant strip. The kitchen serves the Cantonese takeaway menu that has sustained South Side Chinese restaurants for decades — fried rice, chow mein, sweet and sour, curry sauces and noodle dishes — for the residential communities around Shawlands and Newlands.
