Nonas Cafe

Nona's Cafe on Kennedy Path in Townhead is a small neighbourhood cafe serving the residential streets behind Glasgow Cathedral, close to the Necropolis and the Townhead district's social housing. Kennedy Path is a short internal road not much visited by tourists despite its proximity to the Cathedral, and Nona's functions primarily as a community-facing cafe for the local population — breakfasts, light meals and hot drinks in a no-frills setting. It is a very different offer from the tourist restaurants that cluster around the Cathedral precinct, and it fills a practical rather than aspirational role in this part of G4. Weekday trade comes primarily from local residents and workers in the surrounding area rather than visitors to the Cathedral or the Necropolis.
