Mei Dou has quietly built one of the most admired Chinese menus in west Glasgow, operating from a compact shopfront on Fulton Street in Knightswood. The kitchen goes considerably further than the standard British-Cantonese canon: a Thai range sits alongside the Cantonese regulars, and signature dishes like the spicy chicken noodle soup, salt and pepper sirloin steak, and a punchy series of chilli-and-honey preparations have earned genuine word-of-mouth loyalty across G11 to G15.
