Mario's has been serving Giffnock from the top of Fenwick Road since 1984, winning Best Fish and Chips in Glasgow at the Scottish Italian Awards in 2018 — a title that cements its place as one of the South Side's most trusted chippies. The menu combines stonebaked pizzas, cooked to order in the Italian tradition, with a classic fish-and-chip counter and ice cream. The combination of a proper chippy pedigree and stone-baked pizza quality has made it a fixture for the affluent residential streets of Giffnock, including the Jewish community centred nearby. Mario's is also a supporter of the Catherine McEwan Foundation.
