Little Canteen — trading in Chinese as 格拉食堂 (Gela Shitang, roughly "Glasgow canteen") — is a compact Chinese kitchen on Argyle Street in Finnieston, serving the neighbourhood with stir-fries, rice dishes and street-food plates that lean towards the spicier end of the regional spectrum. The salt and chilli chicken and the Szechuan spicy chicken with bones are two of the most frequently ordered dishes, and the plain fried rice is a reliable companion to the richer plates.
