Baguette Express on Battlefield Road is a halal sandwich shop and café counter opposite Langside College, which shapes its customer base significantly. Students, college staff and local workers make up the bulk of the trade, and the opening hours — from early morning until mid-to-late afternoon — reflect that daytime function. The menu is built around filled baguettes, hot rolls, paninis and cold drinks: practical food for a lunch break rather than an evening meal. It is the only wholly halal Baguette Express in Glasgow. Trading seven days but with reduced Sunday hours.
