Pizza 2 Night

Pizza 2 Night occupies the small adjoining unit at the end of the St James Way shopping parade in Foots Cray, the residential edge of Sidcup that runs down to the River Cray and the old industrial estate. The shop trades the familiar British-takeaway combination — pizza, kebab, and fish and chips — which keeps it useful for households where one person wants a pepperoni and the other a doner-and-chips. It is largely a collection and delivery operation rather than a sit-in.

The pizza side runs the standard topping list (pepperoni, ham and mushroom, hot and spicy meat-feast, vegetarian, four-seasons) in 9, 12 and 15 inch sizes with the usual stuffed-crust upgrade; the kebab counter handles doner, chicken doner, lamb shish, mixed shish and a small wrap and burger section; and the fryer turns out cod, plaice, scampi and the standard battered sausages and saveloys. Combination meal deals priced for two or three are the routine Friday-and-Saturday order, and the kitchen delivers locally across Sidcup, Foots Cray, North Cray and the edge of Albany Park. The shop runs late on weekend nights, closing at or just after midnight, and accepts both card and cash at the counter.
