Naz's Rasoi has become Strood's most acclaimed Indian restaurant, with chef-proprietor Naz Islam named Best Chef of the Year at the Curry Life Awards 2025 — one of only nine chefs across the UK to receive the accolade that year. The restaurant also collected the Curry Life Editor's Choice Award, placing it among the top five South Asian kitchens nationally. Dishes such as King Prawn Pathia, Karahi Lamb, and Chicken Tikka Dansak appear consistently in reviews, with the butter chicken and peshwari naan singled out for quality.
