Vigo Grill is the all-in-one kebab, fish-and-chip and pizza house that anchors the small Bay parade in Vigo Village, the 1960s hilltop development south of Meopham. The shop is one of the few late-trading takeaways serving the surrounding villages of Harvel, Trottiscliffe and Stansted, and on weekend evenings draws custom from across the North Downs.

The menu is unusually broad: doner, chicken doner, lamb shish, kebab wraps and combination plates from the Turkish charcoal grill; a full pizza selection in three sizes; quarter-pounder and half-pounder burgers; cod, rock, haddock, plaice and skate from the fryer; chicken wings and platters; and kids' meals. The grill cooking is the section most often singled out in customer feedback, with the marinade on the chicken doner and the lamb shish drawing repeat trade.

Trading hours are long — the shop opens late afternoon and runs until close to 11pm every evening — and free home delivery is offered locally. The Bay sits at the head of the village just off Erskine Road, with the open downland of Trosley Country Park on the doorstep.
