Laus Kitchen

Lau's Kitchen is the Chinese takeaway on the Dartford Road parade in Bexley, set into the small row of shops on the stretch that runs north out of the village towards the Bexley–Crayford boundary. It runs a fairly comprehensive British-Chinese menu — soups, appetisers, vegetarian and meat starters, the long sweet-and-sour and chow mein list and the inevitable foo yung, egg dishes and set-meal combinations — and trades evenings only, with collection accounting for the bulk of the orders given how close most of the catchment is on foot.

The shop holds a current Bexley Council food hygiene rating and is listed on Just Eat for delivery into the immediate residential streets. Reviews are sparse on the major sites — Lau's Kitchen has not chased the TripAdvisor visibility that some of its near-neighbours have — but the menu shows the breadth and structure of a kitchen that has been at it for some time, and the trading entity has held the unit long enough to be a fixed point on this part of the Dartford Road parade. A neighbourhood Chinese running the standard takeaway template, quietly and reliably.
