Listed as seafood, this is in practice a broad Chinese kitchen with Malaysian and Thai wings. Its largest section, Special Recommended Asian Dishes By Our Chef, is a matrix: satay, Szechuan, kung po, black bean chilli and black pepper sauces applied in turn to chicken, beef, roast pork, shrimp, king prawn, roast duck, BBQ spare ribs and a mixed option, which alone accounts for close to fifty rows. Crispy salt and chilli versions of squid, chicken, shredded beef and king prawn sit at its head. Beyond that the protein sections each run sixteen deep, and roast duck takes thirteen dishes plus its own chop suey, chow mein and fried rice. Curries are triple-tracked — an Oriental line, a Malaysia line and a Thai green line, each covering the same spread of meats down to mushrooms and mixed vegetables. Crispy aromatic duck comes quarter or half, and appetisers extend to sesame king prawn toast and curry samosas.
