Chigwell Tandoori

Chigwell Tandoori served the affluent Chigwell commuter community from Limes Avenue for a number of years, offering traditional Indian and Bangladeshi curries, tandoori grills and biryani at prices suited to the IG7 market. Chigwell is Essex commuter-belt territory — wealthy, owner-occupier, TOWIE country — and the kitchen provided a practical local Indian option for residents who did not want to drive to Ilford or Chigwell village. The kitchen held a food hygiene rating of 5 (Very Good). Note: the Limes Avenue address is now associated with Shimla Mirch, which appears to have taken over this site.
