Brigadiers at 1-5 Bloomberg Arcade in the City of London EC4 is a multi-room Indian BBQ restaurant and bar from JKS Restaurants — the group behind Gymkhana, Berenjak and Trishna. Named after the Indian Army's brigadier rank, it occupies several rooms within Bloomberg's European headquarters complex and takes the atmosphere of an Indian sports bar as its design concept: cricket on the screens, trophies on the walls. The food uses four different barbecue methods simultaneously — wood fire, charcoal, robata grill and tandoor — applied to Indian dishes. Signature dishes include slow-cooked lamb shoulder, chicken tikka from the tandoor, raan (a whole marinated leg of lamb for groups), and Dal Makhani. Hardens praises it as "a boisterous and enjoyable City Indian."
