A Slice of Blue

A Slice of Blue is a unique "pizza pub" concept on Lower Clapton Road in Clapton that brings together two of the most celebrated names in London pizza -- Santa Maria, previously awarded best pizza in London, and the mastermind behind Firezza -- to create a genuinely original combination of outstanding Italian pizza, local East London craft beer and live entertainment. The result is one of the most distinctive and lively venues in E5, as unlike a standard pizzeria as it is possible to be whilst still serving exceptional pizza.

The pizza menu draws on Santa Maria's acclaimed techniques, paired with a curated selection of locally crafted beers from East London breweries. Live performances run regularly throughout the week, including vocalists, lyricists, poets and DJs, giving the venue a cultural energy that sets it apart.
