East London Liquor Company

East London Liquor Company is one of the most distinctive food and drink destinations in East London -- a gin, vodka and whisky distillery and cocktail bar set inside a beautifully converted Victorian glue factory at Bow Wharf on Grove Road, a stone's throw from Victoria Park and the Regent's Canal. Founded in June 2014 by distilling expert Jamie Baxter and bar manager Alex Wolpert, ELLC was one of the first new spirits distilleries in East London, producing craft gins, vodkas and rums entirely on-site from copper stills visible through glass behind the bar. Distillery tours are available and bookable online.

The bar serves the full ELLC spirits range -- including their flagship Batch No. 1 gin, London dry gin, wheat vodka and a range of small-batch rums and whiskies -- in expertly made cocktails alongside a food menu. The setting is spectacular: tall ceilings, exposed brickwork, wooden stable doors and copper distillation equipment create an atmosphere unlike any conventional bar in East London.
