Rogue Sarnies

Rogue Sarnies is a cult woodfired sandwich shop that built a devoted following selling out of sandwiches every day from a hidden spot down a cobbled alley in Bethnal Green -- a genuinely word-of-mouth success story in a city saturated with food concepts. Having outgrown its original tiny location, the crew relocated to the railway arches on Poyser Street in Bethnal Green, five minutes from Cambridge Heath Overground station. Hot Dinners described finding the original location as "discovering a real hidden gem."

The sandwiches are made using a woodfired oven that gives the bread and fillings a distinctive smoky char and depth of flavour unavailable from conventional baking. A short, daily-changing menu features inventive fillings using quality seasonal ingredients, with regulars selling out fast.
