Unity Cafe

Unity Cafe is a much-loved community cafe on Richmond Road in Leytonstone, joint winner of the Leytonstoner best cafe award 2024 (33% of the vote, tied with Back To Ours) and one of the Leytonstoner top 10 new openings of 2023. The Leytonstone Guide describes it as a place to "enjoy great coffee and delicious bakes and sandwiches in their beautiful courtyard or indoor space," while the Leytonstoner newsletter praises its "sun-trap terraces" as one of its defining characteristics -- making it particularly popular on warm days when Leytonstone's outdoor cafe culture comes into its own.

The menu covers specialty coffees, homemade bakes, cakes and sandwiches served in a welcoming indoor space and on the sunny outdoor terrace. A community-focused cafe that has quickly become a fixture in the Leytonstone independent scene alongside its neighbours on and near Grove Green Road. Open daily from morning to early afternoon.
