Mum Likes Thai Food Leytonstone is the second branch of the Roman Road Thai restaurant, which opened on Leytonstone High Road approximately two doors down from Homies on Donkeys to meet the demand for good Thai food in an area that had been heavily reliant on Singburi for its Thai fix. The Leytonstone Guide describes it as "a stylish restaurant that prides itself on using the freshest ingredients in its beautifully presented Thai dishes," while the Leytonstoner newsletter noted with enthusiasm that "the area desperately needed another Thai restaurant" and has followed its progress closely since opening. In the Leytonstoner best restaurant poll for 2025, Mum Likes Thai Food polled 15%, placing it third behind Homies on Donkeys and Filly Brook's kitchen residency Sho Foo Doh.

The menu covers the full range of authentic Thai street food and restaurant dishes: pad thai, pad see ew, green and red curries, larb, som tum papaya salad, satay, kao pad and an array of Thai soups and starters.
