Back To Ours is a charming independent coffee shop inside Good Shepherd Studios on Davies Lane in Leytonstone -- winner of the Leytonstoner best cafe award for 2025 with 41% of the vote, and joint winner in 2024 alongside Unity Cafe. Named one of the Leytonstoner top 10 new openings of 2023, it was described as "a beautifully thought-out space that makes clever use of its location and surprisingly leafy outdoors -- great coffee, sweet treats and bread too." The menu covers specialty coffees -- flat whites, oat milk lattes, filter coffees -- alongside homemade sweet treats, pastries and bread, with the occasional light savoury bite. The setting inside Good Shepherd Studios (a community cultural hub hosting a cinema, life drawing, storytelling and art events) makes it a truly distinctive space, with the hidden garden behind providing one of the most peaceful outdoor seating areas in E11.
