About Treves and Hyde
Treves and Hyde is a stylish European restaurant and bar occupying the ground and first floors of the Leman Locke aparthotel on Leman Street in Aldgate, East London. The restaurant takes its name from two figures associated with the area's history -- the surgeon Sir Frederick Treves, who treated Joseph Merrick the "Elephant Man" at the nearby London Hospital, and the writer and reformer Arthur Morrison, who documented life in the East End's Hyde. The candlelit dining room creates a warm, intimate atmosphere for both hotel guests and walk-in diners.
The menu offers modern European cooking with a seasonal, produce-driven approach, served across breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Alongside the restaurant, Treves and Hyde operates as a lively bar and event space, with regular community events, a running club and free Saturday yoga sessions for hotel guests and locals. The restaurant can also be hired for private events. A stone's throw from Aldgate East underground station.
