Kolamba East

Kolamba East is the Shoreditch sister restaurant to Kolamba in Soho, one of London's most celebrated Sri Lankan restaurants. Opening in the Norton Folgate development in early 2025 -- the same vibrant cluster that houses Osteria Angelina and Noisy Oyster, directly opposite Shoreditch High Street station -- Kolamba East brings the distinctive Sri Lankan cooking of the original Soho site to East London in a smart, contemporary setting.

The Kolamba group has been praised for showcasing the full breadth and sophistication of Sri Lankan cuisine beyond the familiar curry-house dishes: expect hoppers, string hoppers, karis (curries cooked in coconut milk with spice blends from different Sri Lankan regions), sambols, devilled dishes, rice and curry platters and wood-fired kotthu roti.
