Kitchen Madras

Kitchen Madras is a South Indian and Sri Lankan restaurant on Mile End Road in Stepney Green, East London. Specialising in the distinctive cuisine of Tamil Nadu and the southern Indian subcontinent, the restaurant offers a welcome alternative to the Bangladeshi curry houses that dominate much of the E1 area.

The menu features dosas, idli, sambar, rasam, fish curries and biryani dishes prepared with the aromatic spice blends and fresh coconut characteristic of Madras-style cooking. All meat is halal. A good-value neighbourhood restaurant for the local Mile End and Stepney Green community. Open daily for lunch and dinner.
