Kinkao Thai Restaurant

Kinkao is a long-established Thai restaurant on Brick Lane in Spitalfields, East London, widely regarded as one of the best Thai restaurants in London. Established in 2010, Kinkao set out to bring authentic Thai cuisine to the heart of Banglatown — a neighbourhood far better known for its curry houses — and quickly won a devoted following for its quality, value and friendly service.

The menu is rooted in traditional Thai cooking: Tom Yam and Tom Kha soups, aromatic duck, Massaman curry, Pad Kra Pao, cashew nut stir-fry, Pad Thai and steamed sea bass with chilli and lime. All food is halal. No service charge is added to the bill. Lunch menus offer exceptional value, with main course and rice from under £6. The restaurant is split across two floors with a cosy, relaxed atmosphere. Open Tuesday through Saturday for lunch and dinner, and all day Sunday.
