About Hovarda Shoreditch
Hovarda is an upscale Turkish and Aegean restaurant and bar in Shoreditch from D&D London, the group behind Skylon, Quaglino's and Coq d'Argent. Opened in 2024, it takes its name from the Turkish word meaning "carefree and generous" and channels the spirit of the Turkish and Greek Aegean coastline -- its food, its warmth, its music and its approach to hospitality. The restaurant occupies a handsome multi-floor space near Shoreditch High Street station with a rooftop terrace that offers views across the Shoreditch skyline.
The menu celebrates the Aegean coast in all its diversity: mezes including smoked aubergine, stuffed vine leaves and grilled halloumi; Aegean fish dishes; slow-cooked lamb; wood-roasted meats; pide breads and a strong selection of Turkish and Greek wines and cocktails. Live DJ sessions and late-night events give the restaurant a lively atmosphere later in the evening. Open daily for lunch, dinner and into the night. A distinctive and sophisticated addition to the Shoreditch dining landscape.
