The group is named after the flat iron cut -- a flavoursome, tender secondary cut from the shoulder -- which they have championed since their first restaurant opened.

The menu is focused and unfussy: flat iron steak (with the option to add creamed spinach, dripping chips, macaroni cheese or beef fat carrots), a rotating daily special cut for those wanting something different, and a selection of desserts. Corn-fed free-range beef only. The downstairs bar serves cocktails and snacks independently. Open daily for lunch and dinner.
