DF Tacos is a Mexican-via-California restaurant occupying a brutish, industrial slice of the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, from the founders of Wahaca. Offering a refreshing and genuine alternative to the Bangladeshi curry houses that surround it, DF Tacos brings the relaxed, sun-drenched food culture of California's taqueria scene to the heart of Spitalfields in a setting of poured concrete, exposed pipes and communal tables that perfectly suits the neighbourhood.

The menu features buttermilk chicken tacos, burger-style 'tortas' stuffed with shredded pork and pink pickled onions, creamy feta sweetcorn, quesadillas and a rotating selection of seasonal small plates inspired by the diverse culinary traditions of Mexico via California.
