About Brat
Brat is a Michelin-starred restaurant on Redchurch Street in Shoreditch from acclaimed chef Tomos Parry. Named after the Middle English word for turbot -- the chef's favourite fish -- Brat is one of London's most sought-after dining destinations, with an upstairs dining room that is almost permanently fully booked. The cooking revolves around a wood-fired grill.
Exceptional quality produce -- much of it sourced from Wales and the British coastline -- is transformed by fire and smoke. The non-negotiable opening course of grilled bread with anchovy is legendary, while the whole turbot or sea bass cooked over wood is among the finest fish dishes in London. Meat, vegetables and desserts are handled with equal care. Brat earned its Michelin star in 2022. The Smoking Goat restaurant occupies the floor below, offering a more casual and affordable dining experience in the same building.
