Spice And Rice is the current Indian takeaway operating from Church Street in central Annan, one of the larger Solway towns and home of the Annandale Distillery and the historic stone harbour at Annan Waterfoot. The unit has previously housed an Indian takeaway under the Little India name; Spice And Rice is the current trading identity at the address and the shop is one of only a small handful of Indian options in the town alongside the curry-corner end of competitor menus.

The menu runs a wide British-Indian list — tandoori starters such as chicken tikka and lamb tikka, mixed pakora, jalfrezi, korma, balti, dhansak, madras and biryani mains across chicken, lamb, beef and king-prawn — and adds an unusual side offering of pizzas and burgers for households where not everyone wants curry. Rice, naan and pakora bread are made to order rather than held.

Trade is collection and delivery only, with a minimum order on delivery, and the shop covers the wider Annan, Brydekirk and Eastriggs catchment in the evening trade.
