Tonys Spice Grill Bar

Tonys Spice Grill Bar is the Church Street late-night hybrid in central Ripley, a few doors down from Shapla Spice and Kathmandu Gurkha but pitched at the opposite end of the market — kebabs, pizzas, burgers and curries off a single sprawling menu rather than a sit-down Indian dining room. It also trades under the names Tony's Delight and Tony's Spice Grill across the various ordering apps.

The menu is essentially a one-stop late-night shop: doner, shish and mixed kebabs, garlic-bread starters, wraps, southern-fried chicken, burgers, a long pizza list, plus a tandoori and curry-house section running through tikka masala, jalfrezi, balti and biryani territory. It is the sort of place locals call when half the household wants a curry and half wants a pizza or kebab. Collection is straightforward — the shop has on-street parking close by — and delivery runs across central Ripley through Just Eat.

Trade peaks late on a Friday and Saturday once the Market Place pubs start to close, and the kitchen is set up for the rush.
