A Pizza M.E. trades from a small shopfront at the Park Corner end of Nottingham Road in Ripley, a couple of minutes' walk from the Market Place. It is one of the busier independent pizza-and-kebab takeaways on the central Ripley strip, with a long Just Eat listing and several hundred customer reviews built up over the years.

The menu is the standard mixed-takeaway sheet — stone-baked pizzas in several sizes (margherita through to barbecue chicken, meat-feast and house specials), garlic bread and dough-ball starters, doner and shish kebabs, wraps, burgers, southern-fried chicken, jacket potatoes, omelettes, scampi and chips, plus a halal section and dessert offerings including Ben and Jerry's tubs and the usual cheesecakes. The shop opens late afternoon and runs through the evening.

It is the sort of operation Ripley locals call when the household is split on what to eat — a pizza, a kebab and a chicken burger can all come on the same docket — and the late closing makes it a regular post-pub option once the central Ripley pubs are turning out.
