Moja is a small Bangladeshi and Indian restaurant on the lower end of Dale Road in Matlock, the run of independents that links Crown Square down towards Matlock Bath. The kitchen runs the long Bangladeshi-British curry-house menu — bhuna, dhansak, balti, dopiaza, jalfrezi, kormas and a chef's-special section, with tandoori starters, biryanis, and the usual rices and breads. Reviewers describe the food as fresh, well-spiced and generously portioned, and several call it the best Indian in Matlock. Staff are praised for being attentive and accommodating with spice levels and gluten-free or dairy-free requests.
