Pizza Plaza

Pizza Plaza on Blagreaves Lane has been a family-run independent pizzeria in Littleover since 1997, run on a fresh-to-order model rather than the standard frozen-base operation of the bigger chains. The kitchen makes its pizzas with home-prepared dough and toppings — a generous spread of options that runs through the standard tomato-and-mozzarella margheritas, pepperonis and hot specials, alongside a useful list of Italian-style pastas. Vegetarian options run right through the menu, and the prep is geared to the small family-style orders that the Blagreaves residential catchment relies on.

The shop has scaled back its operation in recent years and now trades four days a week, Thursday to Sunday, with collection and eat-in but no delivery. It is one of the longer-running independents in Littleover and remains one of the better-rated pizzerias in Derby for those willing to come to the shop for it. A useful weekend option for families on the Blagreaves Lane parade.
