Diamond City is the second Chinese takeaway on Derby Road in Kegworth, sitting up the road from Zhen Garden in the same village parade. It is a long-trading kitchen with a broader-than-usual board: alongside the standard chow mein and sweet-and-sour list, it carries crispy chicken in Cantonese sauce, king prawn in oyster sauce, aromatic pork and a small Szechuan and Satay section.

The kitchen runs cash only — a worth-flagging detail in a trade that has moved largely to card payments — and trades on phone collection alongside online ordering. Reviews on Tripadvisor and Menulation single out the duck dishes and the foo yung as standout orders, with the prices sitting at the lower end of the village-takeaway range. Trading is evenings only, closed Monday for the kitchen's night off (the shop reopens on bank-holiday Mondays). There is no dine-in; collection and a short delivery radius cover Kegworth, Castle Donington and the East Midlands Airport flight-path villages. Within the small Kegworth two-Chinese arrangement, Diamond City holds the longer-running side of the village trade against Zhen Garden a few doors away.
