Pizza Baker is one of the relatively newer takeaways on the central King Street stretch in Alfreton, opened under Pizza Bakers Ltd at the start of 2022. It runs as a mixed pizza-and-fast-food kitchen: stone-baked pizzas across the standard range with a handful of house specials, alongside burgers, kebabs, jacket potatoes, sides and desserts — the same general menu shape as the surrounding shops but with the pizza counter front and centre.

The kitchen trades through to midnight every night, which is a useful pitch in central Alfreton for after-pub orders as well as the regular family run. Reviews are mixed, as is the pattern across the high-volume pizza-kebab cluster on King Street and the High Street, but the late close and the menu breadth give it a particular niche. Collection is straightforward from the King Street counter; delivery covers the central town streets and the closer Somercotes and Riddings edges.
