The vegetarian list is the tell: sixteen dishes, each offered twice over as either a main course or a side, so saag paneer, malai kofta, shahi paneer, chana saag, aloo gobi, matar paneer, bombay aloo and tarka dal can anchor a meal or support one. Starters are similarly flexible, running from chicken and king prawn pakora, mushroom pakora and prawn poori up to vegetarian, non-vegetarian and assorted platters built for two or for four. Korma, balti, pasanda and biryani each get their own headed section rather than being lumped together, with pasanda extended to vegetable and chicken tikka. Grafted onto all of this is a chip-shop annexe — cheesy chips, cheesy garlic chips, chips with doner meat and chilli or garlic sauce, chips with rice and curry sauce — plus a short European list of plaice, chicken breast and goujons, and a kids' board of nuggets, fish fingers and burgers with chips.
