This is a numbered menu of the old school, and the numbering reveals its structure. Alongside the conventional korma, balti, pasanda, curry and biryani sections sits a Healthy Options block of twenty-four dishes that re-runs the same repertoire — jalfrezi, dopiaza, rogan josh, bhuna, korma — across chicken, lamb, king prawn and vegetables, effectively a second lighter menu inside the first. The vegetarian section is similarly systematic: fourteen dishes, each listed twice, once as a side and once as a main course, from saag paneer and malai kofta to bhindi bhaji and aloo gobi. Specialities is where the cooking gets more particular, with a Goan fish curry, Meenaskhi king prawns, chicken tawa, a malabar, mango chicken and lamb keema matar. Breads are a strength, a dozen of them including keema nan and three kulchas stuffed with paneer, onion or potato. Curry sauces are sold by the pot on their own, and there are salt and chilli chips and wings.
