Vegetarian cooking is unusually well served for a Chinese takeaway — twenty-four dishes, second only to the appetisers. Alongside the expected quick-fried mushroom and bean sprouts sit Lo Han Buddha's Delight, Ma Po Tou Fu, aubergine in sea spicy sauce, and mock-meat dishes including Monk Duck with mushroom and Monk Chicken in salt and chilli. Vegetable balls are offered across five different sauces, and the aromatic crispy section pairs a vegetarian mock duck with pancakes next to the quarter and half duck. Thai flavours run through the meat dishes too, with red and green curries and a Thai chilli sauce appearing on chicken, beef, roast duck and king prawn alike. Roast duck earns nine dishes of its own, from orange and plum to Cantonese and Szechuan styles. Spare ribs come five ways among the appetisers, and the set meals include a dedicated vegetarian one.
