Viking Cafe on Almswall Road in Kilwinning was run by Wael Manasra for over thirteen years before he relocated to a new premises in Irvine town centre in 2024. The Kilwinning branch built a loyal following — rated sixth of 35 restaurants in Kilwinning on Tripadvisor and shortlisted as a finalist for Takeaway of the Year in South West Scotland — on the strength of its pizza and grill menu and a kitchen that earned praise for generous portions, good value, and genuinely friendly service. Reviews describe an excellent menu with pizza singled out as a highlight. The Almswall Road location serves the residential eastern part of Kilwinning.
